The acura is $250, and I am not convinced it is as good as some of the others. How does it compare to the ones at pepboys and such? What do you guys use? Any commemts appreciated.

Oh yeah, now I remember. Yowsa, nice figure... but I digress. I bought a Covercraft "Weather Shield HD" car cover for $295.00 about 2 months ago. It works so well that I kick myself for not buying it much sooner. Bought if from ProperAutoCare.com and haven't regretted the steep price once!

Later,

V.

The COVERCRAFT WEATHERSHIELD CAR COVER is what I have for my 2000TL . COVERCRAFT makes the car covers for ACURA/HONDA models. So the factory car cover you buy from the dealer is made by Cover Craft. I also had one for my 1994 ACCORD that I purchased from the HONDA dealer when that car was new. It was also made by Cover Craft & NOAH fabic was used then it had the ACCORD logo on the front. My TL cover just has ACURA logo on the front & the WEATHSHIELD fabric is lighter than the NOAH. www.covercraft.com

ok i think i am going to get the best "ready-fit" cover craft cover, called the Technalon. I can try it out from my local Kragen, and it looks like the have a pretty good price on it. Retail is 203.65 and their price is $124.99.

Technalon® Ready-Fit® Covers
Technalon covers (made with Block-It™ Evolution® fabric) feature 4-layer polypropylene construction for maximum protection in all weather conditions. Often imitated, but never equaled, this U.S. made fabric is used by millions of satisfied car enthusiast around the world.

Naturally Moisture Resistant - Acid rain, industrial pollutants, tree sap and bird droppings will not harm the fabric.
Breathable - Dries quickly because air can easily circulate through the fabric.

Dust / Pollution Barrier - The two middle layers of Evolution fabric act as a filtration barrier against most airborne pollutants as small as 0.1 microns (smaller than talc).
Impact Absorption - 4-layer thickness absorbs impacts better than any other vehicle cover fabric to help protect the finish from nicks, dings, dents and scratches.
Easy To Use - Since the fabric is breathable, it doesn't trap air and "parachute" during installation and removal. It also won't shrink or stretch and retains it's tailored shape.
Four (4) Year Limited Warranty - Against defects in workmanship and/or the fabric becoming unserviceable during normal use. Covercraft will repair or replace, to the original purchaser, after required inspection.
Sizes for cars, vans, pickups, SUV's and station wagons. Material color - tan.
