Welcome to AZine. Nice guide. Getting the clock to work might be something as simple as giving power to a single pin, but I'd have to look at the manual.

Your rear window vents look like shit.

 

I've considered this too as the NAVI is outdated. Instead I use a suction cup to attach my Garmin Nuvi to the screen. It only block the AC controls to use on manual but I just get enough control using the buttons.

 

Clock would be dead simple to wire up, as both you and karan have pointed out.
