You were right on the money on Frank's thread, it replaces the top cover on the upper intake manifold. Creating a larger volume intake plenum.

Does something so simple add so much HP's??

you sir are correct...how does something so simple work ...well on the typeS air pulses in there creating resonance than at 3800 rpm's a plenum opens utilizing this resonance to create a mini supercharger effect know has the" hemholtz effect"...it appears the by making the chamber larger more air is entering..more effect on non type S variants...i have no knowedge....

It attaches right onto the doohicky. Then at 3800 rpm it activates the thingamobob which inturn causes the flux capacitor to create a phlem-holtz effect.
