My newest mod is in the mail

Found a TL TypeS throttle body online. $125+ shipping. After reading Bigman's thread about putting his on his 99TLP, I think this is gonna be a worthwhile mod. Gotta find a new CAI since mine is 2.75" and the new TB is 3".

This pic is actually the www.kingmotorsports.com bored TB, but you get the idea.

Well, ran into a little snag. The TB the guy sent me was for a TLP. Hopefully I'll get this ironed out next week. This means I won't probably install it for a few weeks. Closing on my new house next week (hopefully) so I'm gonna be plenty busy.

Stay tuned.....

You could return the TL-P TB for a TL-S one...or keep it and have it bored out like mine. And keep the extra TL-P TB on hand, so when you sell your TL down the road, you can swap the stock TB back in. Just a thought...

No I didn't. I just used my original TB. If I sell my TL, the TB will go with the car. It only took a few hrs for A&J to do the TB mod. Yes, the throttle response is quite good.
