One of the guys asked me to post where and how i rigged up my K40 laser defuser. so heres the first 2 pics, i forgot to take pics of the wiring 'n stuff, but ill get that soon.

Just FYI, if you have one, make sure its mounted as far away from the bumper as possible like i have it... i used to have it under the front bumper screwed in to the black molding on the bumber but i got a ticket, which was my own fault, because of cource if the K40 is mounted UNDER the damn bumper, it cant project the light upwards... stupid me....

Thanks for the pics! too bad I wont be able to replicate the install, cus I need to have the front plate. I'll probably try to do something similar.

Diffuse the laser cops use, it won't give them a speed reading when he tries to tag you with the laser. So he can't give you a speeding ticket if he doesn't know how fast you're going.

Jim,
in that case, you can use the included license plate frame. its the ideal setup. you put your plate in the frame and the K40 is already mounted in it. just screw in.

Yeah... how about the article of me going 70 in a 45 and then getting pulsed with laser? and i didnt get pulled over, and he kept trying and trying to pulse me all the way up till i passed him. i have about 3 or 4 other times this happened!

I have read tests in the car mags that say just driving with your brights on during the day reduces the range laser can time you by over 50%. Probably work at night too if you don't mind pissing people off.
