Muffler/Exhaust Pipe ??

My car is low and everytime i go over bumps in the road or inclines and all my muffler and exhaust pipe bounces up and down as well. I'm just wondering have any of you guys with slammed cars experience this before? It seems like the whole exhaust pipe isn't very solidly bolted or something...

i was told that mine does the same. im sure its normal. its kind of a heavy exhaust. im sure that there is a way to secure it better but im sure its not going to fall off.

you can make it more secure but that might be overkill. if its not louder than normal then you probably dont have anything broken or loose.

yeah its not loud or producing any abnormal noises or anything - im just concerned about the long term effect of the exhaust bouncing up and down and hitting the base of the car. so you guys experience the same thing too? thnx for the comments btw

One thing you can do is to use the big hose clamps and put them around the muffler hangers. The hangers could be stressed loose. do some search on muffler hangers you will find more answers.

Is it the stock exhaust? Sorry, I assume it is, but just want to make sure. You also might want to check and see if all the hangers are still intact...as sometimes they dry out/crack/break over time.
