Im in the process if trying to get a tint for my Silver TL. I really like the mirror tints, but they only come in 35% which is illegal in Maryland(plus I dont want it that reflective anyway).
I DO NOT want anything that looks black. Are there any other tints out there that have a grayish or silver hue to them??????

there is metallic tint that is reflective at wide angles and when looking strait ahead it looks like regular tint.

Thanx for the reply's. Actually, I had already found that site but they didnt have any shops in my area(in their search engine)--Im in Riverdale, MD.

PhiTL, does that tint you described have a grey undertone??

 

Actually, I am not sure what you mean by grey undertone, but the metallic tint is I belive charcol, which I think is similar to grey but more on the "black" side.

If you go to any good tint shop they will have panes of glass that show what the different tint they have.

I got mine done at a shop in Kensington called something like National Glass tint.

The only thing with a mirror tint is that it may cops to pull you over for the tint. It depends on your tint laws in MD, but in CA, the law states that the tint must be a grayish tint. This was an ammendment to a law which was added recently to make exceptions to front window tints.

CA is a b*tch for everything..it's damn annoying. But..i love it here. I'm gonna be getting titanium tint...i was wondering if there were any pointers on what brand to buy....thx guys!

Im driving the other day, and I see a gs400 on the road...but what caught me I was the tint. Its was like smokey, light gray tint..and it was A BEAST!! Exactly what Im looking for. Needless to say, I got the info and the shop. He says its called a graphite tint......anybody know anything about it??
