Up until now i guess some of you guys found out price doesnt determine quality or performance of a certain performance add on.

My vote is YES.

First batch of megan was only used for testfit purposes(for an accord) I dont even think it had the megan emblem engraved. It was never put on sale to the public. Probably some interenet distributors got to get rid of the inventory. The second batch of megans are the ones you guys see right now.(I was the first authorized megan dealer to testfit it for a TL) They are all sold out already. Third batch of megan wont be here until mid january. All three batches had flexpipes to my knowledge.

Yes, flexpipe will prevent cracking/breaking. If you were to dish out money for headers, there are many brands avail. Just spend the extra money to buy a piece of mind.

Won't screw up your engine. Worst case scenario = no gains+cracking.. if they crack they need to be repaired/replaced.

I'd go for it, no questions asked. I installed mine a week ago, the installation went perfectly and the gains are fantastic. The car sounds great, no leaks and the power difference is very noticeable. One would be foolish to spend over a grand for an identical product. These wont crack, stainless steel, and if they wear out, buy another set for 200 bucks. Seems like an easy decision.

The pipes won't crack, the welds will. It is only a matter of time to see if the quality is up there with the Comptechs. Even the Comptechs has problems their first batches out... but i have to agree, for the external welds and the fact that they spot weld the internal collector pipes if there are gaps, this is a simple choice, GO FOR IT! I posted some pics of the AW headers on some other threads and RESIDUAL FREEDOM also posted pics of the internal welds. You can clearly see that the welds are better on the Megans...

Yep. Mine came with the additional smaller flexpipe towards the end of the header.

YES. Real Megans. So far everything is perfect except for a slight ticking noise. Its barely noticeable so I'm not that concerned with it. I'm getting my bolts retightened soon and will do some additional trimming to the flange on the cat. Hopefully that will solve it. We'll see.
