Megan Headers Hitting Subframe
Megan Headers Hitting Subframe
Yes...another Megan Header thread...
As the title states, my front downpipe is hitting the subframe. When I installed the headers, I didn't know which one was for the front or back since they both had the Megan name plate on it and they looked identical. I searched, but didn't see anyone else having this problem. Anyone know if there is a fix for this or would I need to speak to Megan about getting a replacement? These are the 4th batch.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

I dont own Meagan headers but the first time I tried to install my headers I was having the same problem, it turns out I had the one from the back in the front and vice versa. Maybe this is what is happening to you too. Good luck.
The headers sit at different angles. You would know if they were on the wrong side. This is clearly a design issue. I would recommend contacting whomever you bought them from, or Megan directly, and try to return/replace them.
Well, I called Megan and asked about the headers to see if there was a difference between the front and rear and the answer was "NO"...shouldn't they be different though? Anyhow, it won't hurt much to swap the front and rear so I'll try that first before I take the next step of getting them replaced.
