Exclamation Maint. Req'd light??

My 2002 TL-s has just under 65,000 miles on it. Last week my Maint Req'D ligfht came on.

Anyone have any suggestions on what to do?

No budget for taking it into a shop, what can I do myself?

Thanks in Advance...

Easy fix,.. just turn off the car, hold down the tachometer reset button while turning the ignition to the II position and hold until the light goes off. (about 10 seconds). It's just an automated warning light that comes on every so many miles. It will never indicate any actual problems. That's what the check engine light is for. You can read more about it in your manual if you have one.

Push the Buttons in THEN turn the key to the run position. Hold them for around ten seconds (or until the light goes off) If you Do it wrong (turn the key then push the buttons) you will be adjusting the temp reading a few deg.
Go try it again
