Looking for oil filter

Hi guys,

I'm wondering what kind of oil filter to get for my 99 TL. Is there a big difference between brands? Is Denso any good?

Thanks
Itch

but yea, i got a bosch one from autozone for 6 bucks. they have K&N for our 99 tls there for 13, but whats the point, its pretty much the same quality, k&n just makes it easier to put on and off.

wasn't sure about the quality....the dude at NAPA here was telling me that his 15$ cdn filter was way better since it had better paper and more layers in the filter....is no easier to take off though. Not sure if he's just feeding me BS. I can get the Denso online for 7$ cdn.

mobile-1 m105 is what i use but i think the m104 fits too (place them right up against each other and u'll see the inlet is the same size but filter is smaller)

you can always get the honda one from honda/acura dealer or ebay too

Anyone have experience with "Full" name brand or NAPA Nascar brand filiter that is supposed to spin oil around the canister for smoother flow/filtration? I have used Supertech brand left over from Accord I had previously.

The Napa Nascar one is built by Wix. Great filter.

I've been using only Mobil 1 oil filters with M1 oil.
They now have Extended Performance (EP) oil filters that are designed for longer oil changes, and have more capacity.
