Light sensor on dash board....

Question Light sensor on dash board....

Does any one know what the light sensor located at the back of the dash board actually does..??? as it doesnt seem to affect interior or exterior lights

If you're talking about the sensor that's located at the front of our dash..right by our windshield..I believe that's a sensor used to determine the outside temp.

Cool sensor

The sensor is a sunlight sensor for the auto climate control. In the MDX, they use it also for the auto headlights. The ambient temp sensor is behind the front grille.
