Anyone know what kind of led I need for the license plate? And I don't have high hopes with this one, but is there any place to buy a replacement for the plastic cover over the light? Mines a bit yellow and aged.

I bought 10 white LED 168 bulbs from ebay in a package for 1.50$ shipped.
Also put them in the doors. Buy from a well rated seller and wait a month and your set.

I modded and put in flex led strip (15 leds over the length of the plate).

 

I did the same thing and i was very pleased with how it came out.

 

Any autozone has the 168 LED bulb. It's $10 per bulb but I have em for my license plate and the courtesy lights, I love them.

 

Amen, its easy to do and looks way better since the light is more consistant along the plate. The strips do reflect allot of light onto the ground... if you care.
