LED Mods/Electrical Question
I am planning on doing the LED doorhandles, footwell lighting, and basically changing all the gauges and interior lights to blue LED's. I am fairly confident I can do all of this myself. However I am wondering what can I do to make sure I will not cause any fires or overload anything? Use bigger amps for a start i'm guessing? Also isn't there something about a relay or something to stop me from overpowering my fuses? Although I am sure I can wire everything up, I don't know much about electricity and I want to make sure I don't end up burning my car up or anything, just want to have some safeguards in place and do it right the first time instead of just splicing a bunch of wires together.

LEDs are actually energy savers so you will be fine.
The only thing you need is load resistors if you plan on putting in turn signal LEDs.
The car will think that the bulb is dead even though it will be blinking because the LEDs have less watts than normal bulbs. With the resistors, the car is able to read and see that the lights are still functional.

NOOOOOOOOOOOO STAY AWAY FROM HOME DEPOT!
People here on Azine get their LEDs from, v-leds, superbrights, autoluminations, and even eBay.
I get mine on V-LEDs and only some things on eBay.

I got 4 led strips for my footwell lighting really cheap off ebay, around 12 bucks I think. All I did was tap into the dome light for all of them, I didnt have to add any thing like an amp.
