Cl-s Seat Conversion To The Tl!!!

yes, they are 2003 CL type-s seats that i had reupolstered with some "FINE" hide!, TOP QUALITY LEATHER, (no perforated ) and custom embroidered w/ the "ACURA" graphic, and logo. i built the logo border out on the headrests so the thread would take. it gets very thin around the edges, and would eventually snap, so it's a full circle. the CL seats give my transformed 80% SPORT, 20% TL LUX vehicle a fully bolstered racing seat that still gives me an oem 8 way power driver's seat, the heated seats, etc...MAN THEY FEEL TIGHT!!! NO SLIDING ASS!!! best of both worlds!!! thanks for posting DDJ!

Hey Kman...how would you remove the leather off our seats? I've always wanted to switch the driver and passenger bottom when I reach 100k miles...kinda like rotating a tire...but in this case...the ass seat. Any hints?

Kman, the CL-S seats has the slide foward feature (since it is a coupe), does that still work? That be so weird to see in a Sedan lol.

acura might have a way of swapping the seat bottoms on the oem setup.? those were originally black leather that was just sliced off for the new leather.

the rails are the same, but there must be something in the coupe w/ the seat rail that disengages it for manual slide? let ya know when they are in!

after looking for over 2 years, i finally found & purchased new 2003cl seats and components front and back seats for $500 on ebay! this guy didn't know what he had!!! jumped on it ASAP! mind you the oem seats from the dealer are like $5,000! sold some of the cl parts for $400, selling my basically new tl front seats to someone for $500. new leather and labor was $750. custom ebroidery was $ 200 for computer digitization, and sewing the logo's on. i just did the design work on the logo and did the placement of the templates on the leather. the seats were done by a professional auto leather upholsterer. i'm installing them, so... i think i'm still in the black!!! not bad...

way to resurect a dead thread and a sad event...steve was in an accident his $100k TL got hit pretty good. I haven't heard much after, but he's working on a beastly accord he brought from the far west.

No way in hell he put 70k dollars into his TL. It's a sweet ride, but not a 70,000-dollar ride in mods alone.

I remember the accident vaguely. I haven't heard much afterwards. I hope everything's going well for him.
