On 4/30 I bought my 2003 TLS with 33k. I love her and got her some tint.

Here she is.



Well, I had her for two weeks and after a very irresponsible night lets call it, I somehow managed to hit a fence and what I thought needed a new bumper and headlight, has turned into a month later and a fender, strut, radiator, ac condesor, fog lights, battery tray and now after the body shop dicking me around for two weeks because the parts didn't fit right(aftermarket headlight + bumper) the day after Im suposed to get it back they tell me the tranny needs to be replaced rawwwr. Whatever its under warrenty thank god and Ill have her back someday. I miss my baby, I needed to vent.

Ive since learned responsibilty with a sexy lady like my tls is an absolute must.

BE happy you got off so lightly. You could have ended up in jail or hurt another parson. Things can always be worse...Take this cheap lesson to heart!

 

Sucks about all that money but the car looks great.

I had my fender bender on a previous car and I got lucky noone was hurt, just damage to my car (didn't even put a dent on that F150 truck). However, I have been driving my car for 6 month now and I don't know what I would do if I get into an accident....I have learned my lesson from the frist car....don't want to hurt my sexy girls feelings or her body

 

At least you have learned a lesson. My only gripe is that you went with aftermarkert parts. You should have at least went with used OEM. The quality and fitment of aftermarket parts suck. Especially the beam pattern on the headlights.

 

mhm, learned some of my lessons on my first car too. had my first fender bender on it, from then on, especially in rainy weather, i brake like an old lady. just a habit i guess lol. but good luck with the car

 

Well I'm glad it's under warrenty. Next time you decide to take her out you'll be more careful with her and treat her like the queen she really is(LOL).

 

thanks for all the post guys. the remanufactured tranny is in and I should be able to get my car back today or tomorrow. I didn't ask them to use aftermarket, they got them and then they didn't fit so to the best of my knowlage its now all oem parts. ill be pissed if my hids are noticbly different now.

 

wow, one after another huh? Sucks, but I guess it's just the perks of having the TL. = )

 

I got her back. the tranny definatley shifts smoother and doesnt make that loud click when putting it into drive. my only complaint is now if it revs in park it kinda grunts and the left headlight needs to be aimed up a smidge more, its really annoying actually. but my babys back =) too bad its rainy today and tomorrow
