jdm spoiler adds value to the car?

I've been wondering would the jdm spoiler add much value to a tl or would it depend?

of course it would, its like comparing two tls, one with a lipkit, other without, and the one with will go for more money/value.

Sure as long as you emphasize the fact that you have it and that it's a rare mod.

unless your selling to a person who cares/is an enthusiast, then no, aftermarket/oem add on's like a jdm spoiler usually add no significant value, and can sometimes decrease value

I always thought the oem spoiler was hard to find. That's why I decided to get my car WITH the spoiler. I didn't wanna go through the trouble of ordering one online and having it color matched to my car. But now, I see every TL with an oem spoiler. Kinda makes me wanna go spoilerless and get the mugen 3 piece wing or the wings west flush mount. Oh well ..

I don't really think it adds much value to the car but that's just my opinion.

do that you will have to have the trunk repainted and matched.

I guess .. but I wouldn't have to splice wires for my spoiler light .. it would just be an add on

so then aftermarket performance mods wont
would oem accessories raise the value? i was thinking of more of an oem part level, not mods.

stock spoiler is p lug and play though, as far as the third brake light goes (just gotta drill a hole for the wiring though, but you got a template though, to make sure it is where it needs to be

jdm spoiler is OEM part level though , but yeah it will raise the value of the car some, but you will never get back what you put into purchusing said part for though

i added my new spoiler to a 10 year old trunk. now the trunk had a bunch of tiny scratches and such, but they did an awesome job of matching.. saved me a couple hundred bucks of having to re-do the trunk

when i worked at the dealer we had a checklist for options that a car has or does not have. the more options the more your car is worth. same goes for kelly's blue book.

Ultimately its up to the used car manager or the person youre selling your car too.

if the mods are factory i'd say worth more than aftermarket, cause the dealer would know how much a set of 18" aspec wheels go for, but not what ronjons go for.
