J25 for JDM to J32

Hey everyone!
I've bought a right handed Honda Inspire with an J25A engine (JDM analog). And I have a few questions: Is it possible to change J25a to J32a2 engine without changing wire harness, multiplex control unit etc? Is anybody have Multiplex Control Unit Pinout Diagrams? THANK YOU FOR HELP

Don't know anything about JDM setups and we didn't have anything like that here in the states. Would love to see some pictures though!

I believe it should work, but your looking at a setup similar to the 99TL from the US, assuming it has the 4 speed transmission.
I might be wrong but If you can give more information that would be helpful. Also I don't think the multiplex has to be touched when dealing with an engine swap.

Didn't the JDM Spec 2nd Gen INSPIRE used the G25A1? Which is the Straight 5 Engine from the Acura Vigor?...

I don't recall any J series 2.5L engine but I could be wrong, JDM is not my coup..

I dont recall ever seeing anyone here with an actual Inspire/Sabre, let alont attempt to convert it to a J32A2.

That said its going to be a lot like a US version/99 doing the conversion. You will need to redo a lot of wiring, replace the ECU, Trans to a 5 speed unit. You will most likely be able to retain the stock multiplexs.

That would be the 1st gen TL/Inspire

That engine is mounted completely differently.

They have them on ebay its a J25 V6: http://www.ebay.com/itm/98-03-HONDA-INSPIRE-99-SABER-2-5L-V6-VTEC-SOHC-ENGINE-JDM-J25A-J25-/281120347734?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4174141656&vxp=mtr
Since its a 4 speed its definetely a 99 setup. I believe I saw a 99 with a J32A2 in a 99 with a 4speed trans on youtube, soon as I find it I'll post it.

Where are you from? You don't even have a license plate in the rear and your front plate isn't American.

If it's a '99 ... up here in Canada, we have a 15-year rule that allows Canadians to import anything and make it 'road legal'. That's why we have Skylines, etc here. Which also means ... R34 GT-R will be a reality as well ...

^^U still go on here??? Thanks to you, I was able to swap out my USDM grill for the JDM one lol.

I just realized this car is definitely European due to the rear license plate mounting bracket and front one is blurred out because it's not a replica.
