Which iPod adapter for my 2000 Acura 3.2TL?

Hello All,

I've have a 2000 Acura 3.2TL with the factory radio, and like most ppl here, it does not play burned CD's very well. I've decided that the best solution is to get an iPod adapter that will integrate with the factory Bose radio, which is a single disc cd player. I've looked through these forums, and I see recommendations for Blitzsafe, I-HONDA-R2 by Dice, Neo ProLink iPod, iPod2Car, and PAC. Can someone please recommend the best one out of these or any that I have not mentioned? I would like to be able to use my steering wheel controls to control the ipod as well as have it charge the ipod as well. Thanks so much, any advice would be much much apreciated!

I've been using some cassette adapter my sister picked up from one of her friends and it works fine enough for me.

I think the blitzsafe is the best one. Comes with two different audio out options which is nice. It's plug and play, super easy to install, don't even need to pull the head unit out, just take off the right side panel and wood trim and you can reach it carefully...

With the model you are talking about, I don't think you can control the iPod from your steering wheel controls. IMO that makes the USASpec better.

i am also using the cassette adapter right now. i used to use a wireless one that plugged into the cigarette lighter but the signal can be pretty iffy and there is some static but only when you turned it up. it one a cheap model from ebay so i cant complain. it worked like it should and i was still happy but the cassette adapter is much clearer.

That is true, but I don't care about using the steering wheel controls, i simply wanted an auxiliary input. I like using the ipods menu, and I use the video from the ipod for the navigation..

USASpec comes with an iPod input and an aux input, so you can have both. The iPod input allows you to control the iPod via the steering wheel, and it also charges the iPod. The secondary aux input is just a L/R RCA input. I'm not trying to put you down or anything, I'm just giving this info for others who are deciding between the two units.

I think he means he is displaying his iPod video onto his navi screen (so he can watch movies on his navi screen), not the other way around.

Oh right on, I didn't know that about the USAspec. In retroUSAspec, I probably would have bought that one. :-D

And yes, I am using the ipod video to play movies/tv shows/music videos on the nav screen with Doms DVD2Nav converter...
