Introducing Myself
Whats up guys, my name is Grayson, and i'm from NC (obviously). I sold my Audi A4 in january and was a pretty big member over on audizine.com, so i know the whole forum deal. just wanted to introduce myself and my car, 2002 TL type-s. i would post pics but it's just stock so you guys know what those look like. it's still under warranty and was CPO, so thats good for the longevity of the car.
i told myself that after modding the ish out of my a4 that i wasn't going to start on the acura, but i don't think i can resist. most likely i'll do suspension things first ie swaybars and maybe spring/shock combo.
not too many plans just want to keep it simple and smooth, looks like a great community you guys have here. thanks.
THIS IS MY SOLEMN SWEAR THAT I WILL USE THE SEARCH FEATURE.

Welcome!
What year was the A4? 1.8T or V6? Was it the AWD version? 5spd or 6sp? How come you sold it? What kind of mods are we talking? LoL, I'm just wondering why you wanted to go from that to a TL. I'd rather have a boosted AWD A4 than a TL anyday.

the a4 was a 1999.5 Quattro 1.8t 5sp. i had some pretty decent stuff done, and the car hauled ass. K04 turbo, lowered, CF hood, custom magnaflow exhaust. i sold it because it wasnt street legal, (no cat), and i couldn't ever get inspection done. also it broke down alot, so i wanted something reliable. i miss it, but im glad i have something reliable
the tl-s is green. not sure of the exact name of the color but it's forest green to me.

Welcome! I did some car audio work on a stock 2001 A4 1.8 5Sp a couple of months ago and they are nice cars. I could see with some mods the car could haul.
Suspension work was one of my favorite mods on my TL, makes it look so good and drive a lot better. Good luck in your modding!

I am not an old timer, but I have been here for a little while. OH I guess I am trying to say, weclome to the A family. I am a little jealous of all type S's out there. Mine is 01, so type S is not even an option for me
oh well
I am a huge fan of a4. I love that car. I wish I could afford it. 2004 model is my favorite one. It is one of the FEW cars that have perfect design. Especially with mods it looks

Just want to say welcome aboard. I just bought a TL here last week and found this forum too. Has a wealth of information and finding myself reading post after post to fimiliar myself with all the information about my vehicle. Can anyone tell me how to PM other members? Say's my account is restricted and I thought it had to do with upgrading my account to a membership. But can't find any info around here as to why I am getting this message. Any help?

Welcome to the forum and happy modding. I don't think it's possible to not mod a car once you've done one before. Not to hijack the thread but I am planning a meet in VA Beach that has turned out to be quite the turn out. Check the link in my sig.
I take brookshire exit off of 77-S. Then from that exit, theres two choices either left or right. I take Left. Then i take an exit off of that, that puts me by CPCC. and the Barber shop is like 2-3 Miles down that main road.

Anyway though congrats on UNCW its a hard school to get into only about 20% who apply get in. Out of all the schools I toured UNCW probably had the nicest campus but since im going to major more in the math field I decided it wasnt the school for me. However its a very nice school im sure you will have a blast there.
i can see pelican watch from my driveway about a mile away. i am pretty happy i got into uncw. it was my first choice and i didn't think i would get in at all!

I wonder how many other -zine auto forums are out there? The Type-S you have there is called NGM - Noble Green Metallic.
