How do you make other switches (fog, moonroof, cruise), clock, and climate control light bright white? do we have to remove blue tint with acetone as well for those like we do our cluster?

if I order Neowedge LEDs from superbrightleds.com for those lights, would it be just direct swap?

Wouldn't recommend acetone to remove the blue filter. You could use wet fine grit sandpaper to remove, but I still wouldn't take a chance. Been there, done that and it didnt turn out too well

FYI, I'm editing the video for the final DIY as we speak right now. Taking longer than I thought. Lots of mumbo jumbo to filter out. Guess I was a chatty kathy when doing it....or the solder smoke was getting to me.

What chemical do you recommend for cluster? from video, you used the one from home depot or something but I can't seem to find one in US.

for switches and climate control knobs, do i have to remove everything and rub it with cotton swab with chemical or i can just remove blue tint to look more white?

Nothing against Ontario, but for those of you who want to DIY try LEDautomotive.com He mounts the LED's in bulb holders that fit right into the stock spots. The light dispersion is not as good but for less than $200 it looks great! I did my swap and used Blue LED's instead of whites and it looks great! Gotta go back in an tweak a couple things before I take photos. For some reason that stpid clock light isn't working even though it did when I tested it!

I've been watching OntarioTL's job for a few years now. I think the LED gauge lights are gorgeous. 2-3 years ago, there weren't any plug and play bulbs you could use.

I had to tear my instrument cluster apart and replace some stock bulbs that burned out, and at the time there were no direct replacements.

I did convert ALL interior lights (dome, map, door, courtesy lights and the tag light) to LED using plug and play bulbs. They work fantastic and are bright as heck.

Now, since we're 2 years down the road, is there a viable alternative to changing just the gauge lights to a more bright white than the stock baby green? I don't think I have it in me to take my nav buttons, A/C and radio apart and solder the bulbs in. I'd love to get the gauges to be white though.

Are there any decent products out there that are relatively new technology that have good light disbursement within the gauges?

The interior LED's I did are amazing. I love them. I've been driving a loaner '11 MDX tech package for 2 weeks now, and I've just fallen in love with the white lights.
