as most ppl know when we get our second trannies put in it makes our car perform like shit. quicker shifts and such. as most of us know we also recieve new ecu's with the replacement. my question is has anyone changed the tranny ecu that we get with the rebuilt tranny to an ecu thats been in an original tl. will that make the rebuilt unit perform like the original?

 

mine performs like the original (actually faster and better) and im on tranny #4 (and i have had the ecu replacement)

 

mine is horrible shifts terrible and is slow as all hell. i got beat by a stock altima the other day. i know for a fact i used to beat my friends altima. im just wondering if its the computer that acura is using to restrict the new trans

 

Damn I feel bad for you I hope it was the new v6 one atleast ??? Not one of the old pos 4cyl.Or even the new 4cyl one for that matter.

 

theres no way you could have lost to a 4cylnder altima....i used to drive my dads 04 and it was slow as shit
