I think my tranny is about the blow!
Well my car is jerking every time I drive now! When I put the car into reverse it lags and I feel a clunk and when im driving it clunks from 1st to 2nd and from 2nd to 3rd The RPM will just shoot up! ne ways the dealership told me that they have to check if my car is still under warranty..
Are they going to say nething about me having a CAI?
And our cars do have 100000 tranny warranty right? (02 TL-S)
Some one just help me!!!

I have all the problems you decribed and the dealer told me that all those things are normal. i'm going to have it out with them tomarrow morning plus they told me I had to pay to get the problem look at although it covered under warrenty. I have a '99 with 108k km it does all the things that you mentioned.
the most annoying it when it shifts from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd, the rpm revs high and the entire car jerks, DRIVES ME NUTS.... Let ne know what your solution is if your covered under warrenty...

CAI cannot cause the problem, and even if it could, which it can't, they actually need to be able to prove it (impossible, btw.) Good luck and report back. I've considered trading for an IS300 just cos' of these dealership nightmare stories about ACURA.....I love my car though and will wait until it's either on it's 2nd tranny or the warranty is about to run out to do so.

Here is the simple fix
go to www.acura.com find the Owner Link and sign up for FREE with your car VIN number
It will tell you exactly what the warranty is on the trans- IF you are covered and that the coverage goes to 7 years from first date of service or 109k miles whichever is first
The fact that the service WRITER- who is really a repair salesman- may not know exactly which cars have what warranty- is common, so thet tell you to bring it in and they will look it up.
Of course they have you sign a work order for diagnosis- that makes it legal to work on your car- without that- you can claim they are car thieves stripping your car!
After a few test they know whats wrong- write a new work order as warranty and it pays for the diagnosis as well.
Often the front motor mount needs replacing- its much cheaper to have them do it while the trans is already out- part $120 labor $30
