Is it possible for the rear seats to fold down in a 2002 acura tl type s ???????

No..only the mini middle part has the function to open to access the truck.

dang that sucks im putting a bass system in my car and it would have been cool if it folded down like my dad's old honda accord

Build a custom box and have the port facing the arm rest access hole but the only problem is it will rattle

well my uncle is making me a custom box anyways for my 2 teo tsx subs

only a few bolts hold the rear seat back and bottem in
the frame and foam are very basic
You can customize it easily to fit your needs

With a decent amp/sub setup, I highly doubt you will need the rear seats to fold down to hear the thump! Look around the gallery section, I know alot of members have done custom subwoofer in the truck.
