No,
I didnt take anything out. Everything is still in place. I just added the gutter gaurd all behind it. The original plastic is behind it. It was a pain to screw it back in cuz i had to cut the gutter gaurd perfectly.

nate... it's really not that hard kid... sound harder than it is...once you approach it...it's much much easier...
asif... leave the top as is... if you're like me and get bored very quickly of a new mod... do the top and a month later...the bottom three.

So what are those two dark spots in the grill? Are they screws for mounting or tiestraps?

They are zipties. I think I am gonna put clear ones if they are that noticable or just take them off. Ya Tommy is right. Me and Maharaja put it on very easily. At first we did it like Tommys then I wanted to put the wing back on so we did it all over again. You should try it. Easy with another person. Get experience. Have Fun!

it's much easier w/another fella to hold the grille while another shoves the gutter guard in there... but if you have dumb friends like myself... DO IT ALONE.
btw asif... why the zip ties up there... ya sure you did it right...?
no zip ties in the grille kid...
oooooooooooooh... you used zip ties cause you used the "wing" that's why. no wing...no zip ties kid

Hey Asif.... sorry ... didn't check my email for the last 2 days .... If you still need help, let me know. I still have all the template I made. I can send you pic of that if you like. I know that kid Tommy already show you how .... Your grille look good, but I also notice that 2 holes above the emblems .... what's those 2 holes?
BTW, IMO .... Loose the middle trim and use only the A emblem ... Look kind of busy there. Well just my .05 cent ....

How about an indiglo emblem there?

the instructions posted here are pretty easy to follow to make the grill without the wing. But how do u make the winged grill? After you cut out the gutter (grill shaped) what else do u have to cut on the gutter so you can put the wings on? I am having a hard time comparing the pictures above and my car. What i am asking is, since right behind the emblem there is a around black plastic backing that's pretty protruding and how do u put on the gutter so everything is leveled?

At first we were going to leave the wing off like Red Tl, and Tommy Amrani's. I wanted to put the wing somewhere else on the car like the back. But then it would look like a Chrysler symbol. So me and Maharaja decided to try to cut exactly on the edge of where the wing was supposed to go. So we started out by cutting the mesh VERY carefully around the A and then work are way down the wing. We wanted to put the Mesh behind the A emblem as well so we cut out a very small hole where the screw and those two little silver things go in. And we it went in level and everything. I think if you a silver Tl or a Black one the chrome gives your car more definition. But if you want just try it and let me know how it turns out. If any questions just ask. Peace!

can u post a few other pictures of your grill from different angles? So you basically cut a circle out from the gutter so the middle part (ring) of the wing can go through the gutter right?

Hey UW, if you take off your grill (real easy, 6 10mm bolts) you'd see how easy it would be take take out the plastic mesh, leaving the chrome, so you could put in gutter guard mesh. R-Sports in Bellevue has the mesh for $50, good stuff though.

Anyway, I always thought I'd have to cut off some plastic or something to do my grill... now I actually took it off... I bet if you used hot glue that you could undo it all if you don't like it.

Hmm... only problem I see is how to attach just the chrome part back on the car, since the plastic mesh crap also has the bolts... doh!
