I have never ever been beaten so bad. I was on the freeway today when this benz E500 cuts me off. I thought what the hell. So I start riding his A$$ when all of a sudden he just punches it. I have never seen anything take off like that. I swear he was doing 145 or 150 by the time I got to 120. Needless to say I got the ish beat out of me. Oh well what do you expect it sits on a porche chasis and theirs only 276 or 280 built in the world.

 

did you mean E55 or S500??? there is no E500.

 

Have heard of the E55, E320, E430, S320 (previous S-class), S430, S500, S55, S600 but never a E500.....

Yes, actually there was an E500, it was previously called the 500E until Mercedes changed their nomenclature. It was built in conjunction with Porsche and used Porsche brakes as well as fenders that were made by Porsche.

This is the view you'll most likely get if you attempt to race one of these 5 liter 326hp beasts.

Yep, E500 is very nice and rare - a collector's car now. Same goes for the 400E of the same era.

I once almost bought a 300E of that era, but it was pretty slow and also not too nice inside. I bought an RX-7 convertible instead...

There definitely was an E500 made.. one of neighbors has one.. black.. and it is incredible... He tears it up around corners and is always laying down rubber just messing around. Definitely a phat car.. for those of you that spoke too soon.. please do your homework before making ridiculous posts..
