yes it does, im very sure it does. It could be in the key, it could be in the PCM, it could be somewhere....plus its heck expensive and not guaranteed to work when rolling back digital odometer.

yeah, illegal too.

Swap out guage clusters to roll back or prevent the miles from rolling up on yours. But I do think the PCM holds it in memory.

First of all I want everyone to know I wouldn't even think about doing anything illegal. I just have a friend that is thinking about swapping out a guage cluster and

I was telling him that it may be stored somewhere eles and an acura dealership could check.

Does anyone really know?

Listen Inspector Cluso. Go to Dallas and figure out who killed Kennedy. Hopefully you dont believe that lone gunman story or that single bullet theory by that moron arlen Spector.
Just stick to the facts and help me debate my friend. I didnt tell no one my idea. You are assuming my idea has something to do with this topic. Anyway all in fun.

I'm certain the pcm must store mileage because where does the gauge cluster get its information when the car's off? The gauges just display information they receive from someplace else.

yes it is stored... and from what i hear, when you digitally "roll back" it doesnt work again... the mileage stays on what you rolled it to and thats it- so in other words, ur screwd
