I dunno guys...
I'm looking to get my TL type S here in 2 months or so but all this tranny talk is starting to scare me. If that guy wins the lawsuit with Acura, what do you think the compensation will be, if in fact there is a compensation. Don't get me wrong though, I love the TL but I just don't want to be a victim of this unfortunate problem with the trannies...
please let me know what you think (you guys seem to be a little more informed than i am)

hahaha seriously! I ain't scared of nothing! I love Hondas. And the TL was just unbelievable! There will be something of a fix sooner or later....Honda needs to wake up. But my car is still new. and I'm already giving the tranny a work out! I pop it in D4, D5, sportshift mode....all those three very very constantly ever since I broke into the 600 mile. I now have 809. I have the extended warranty anyway... *knocks on fake wood also* I mean..i couldv'e went with the IS300...but I just love the power of the TL. Oh yeah...girls also look at you in this car.. *wink wink* do I sound desperate for a girl? infact I am! j/k!
I get a grin everytime I creep away from cars so easily. Get the TL! don't be worried! Enjoy the car!

Don't let the minority of people with tranny problems scare you away from what I believe is the best-bang-for-the-buck car. It might seem a lot from this board but you fail to consider how many TL/TL-S are sold nationwide.

Agree, but keep in mind that it's common for TL to have rattles and stuff...

Thanks guys...
I am still going to get the TL (hopefully in a month or two). I was just curious as to what the compensation would be.
A few more questions that i need help with are...
1) How long did you guys have to wait after ordering your TL
this is assuming you ordered them brand new and all that good stuff (I emailed the dealership but just want your imput)
2) What sites do you recommend for selling a car (i.e. autobytel.com)
My dilema is, I have to sell my 90 Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo before I get my TL so i would like to do it as quick as possible
