How is the mystery mod gonna fit on a 99TL?

Here's what our manifold cover looks like.

Here's the 2000+

So if what you're saying is right, this mod won't work on a 99.

Damn that sux for you...Na im sure syn already thought of this he just hasnt mentioned this...At any rate, if you cant buy it it would be a good race with a TL w/res and intake vs. a TL w/headers and intake...Shyne

I know I've been gone for a while, but PLEASE tell me that this is a good Photoshop job and someone didn't actually paint their engine this color.

It appears that would look even if the lights were off.

So is there a GirlieGirl racing sticker on the window somewhere?

Im sure Doug will come up w/ one for the 99's since they share the same intake manifold w/ the accords. and we all know theres more accord than tl/cl's.

NO it does not work with 99 TL's. Doug seems to have something on the works, but I'm not sure.

See this crap pisses me off. First we are kept in the dark about this "Mystery Mod", we never heard anything about what years it was made for. Why couldn't you just say it was for the 2000's and up, so us people with the 99 didnt have to wait in suspense like morons only to be left behind. I mean WTF i even have money on the side for this thing. I put off buying an intake because of it, and now you're tellin me it wont fit. And i bet when and if it does come out for the 99's it will probably have less gains then yhe 00 and up. We 99 wners got the short end of the stick on everything. We have a 4 speed tranny, hd navi unit and countless other lil upgrades here and there that you 00 and up owners got.

the point is: don't buy a car the first year after it's completely redesigned or first released!?!

that seems to be a big complaint "Us '99 owners always get screwed!".

I would assume that when they say the mod will come out for the TL it will be for the 99's as well. They could have told u. This is bad marketing. Its like when you see tht deal for a car in the magazine for 149 a month, and once you get to the dealer they say we sold that car, but you can get this one for 100 more. I am not saying that's what happend, im just sayin that us 99 owners had our hopes up high and now this so called 5 minute mod will probably take us hours.

Thank god I'm not that gung-ho about the MM (RES) or else I would be pissed off too because I also have a 99 TL. I am just going to sit back and wait to see if Doug comes out with something for our 99 TLs. HINT...HINT...:p

Either that or I am going to have to "borrow" a 00+ manifold and make it fit on my 99 TL.

Well if it doesnt fit our 99 then I am sure it isnt going to fit the 6th gen accord v6. I used to have a 98 exv6 and its the same as our 99 .

Like everyone said, they have to make it fit Accords because the market is so big. So when they do that, the 99 TLs get it. I hope! Poor 99 TLs!

Yes, that's the point I just gave up on when i was responding to this point. There were too many flaws in the marketing. When tehy said the product was going to be released, they should have said it wouldn't fit the 99TL.

"Poor 99TL's

LOL! that's funny Nate Dogg.
