Only 3 will come out. the rest is trapped in the trans. Thats why we say to drain, fill drive x3 to get as much new fluid in the trans as possible. Put in whats necessary. Put in 2.5 qts and check the level, if it needs more simply add more. (3 should have come out)

Most parts stores and quickie oil change shops are required by law to take used oil at no charge. Limits may apply
The parts place will only take MOTOR oil
the quick change MAY take trans fluid- call and ask- they have to pay to have the stuff taken off their hands so it had to be law to make it happen

Alos check for local county run hazmat recycler place. My town has one near the airport that takes ALL fluids- coolant trans, engine, pool chemicals- unknowns etc, all FREE

Your garbage/refuse pickup company should know too- give them a call
