how do itell when oil is bad

how do you tell when oil is good or baD?..how dark does it have to be...im just wondering because i hit 7500..but i changed my oil maybe 2000 miles ago...so i'm wondering if i should just change it to get on scedule with me maintness light...or leave it..cause i dont want to waste good oil..assuming its good....
oh...and im anxious to switch to synth

the oil runs in best performance for a least 4000 miles...if u go a lot hwy, the oil would last longer too~

it's not necessary to waste money on this...and the oil is not environmental friendly too~

The darker it is the more worn out it is. In other words when you drain your oil and see that it is pitch black then yeah, you need to change it.

But, just cause our car's are so expensive to maintain, I recommend that u never try to wait out your oil's lifespan. You dont want 2 create any un-called-for problems inside your engine and have to suffer a hole in your wallet just cause you have to fix or replace it!

use your dipstick and check, sometimes you need to wipe it with your fingers to see if it's black or dark brown. 3000 - 3500 miles per interval is probably the safest, anything longer than that would not be good unless you use synthetic. also get a good oil filter like a k&n.
