Horn Button is Annoying

Has anyone noticed that you almost have to hit the horn dead center for it to sound. Is this is just in my car or all tl's? It seems like it should sound when you press closer to where your thumb would rest in a normal driving position. In an emergency situation, who wants to have to look down or try to hit the horn button dead on. On my other cars pressing almost anywhere on the airbag area will make the horn sound.

Yeah I can attest to that. I have trouble getting the curteous honk and and push to hard sometimes and HONK it scares people. There is a thin line between no noise and loud noise.
Not that I use my horn often anyways.

If I want to use my horn, I have to hit it dead in the center. It's poointless. I have tried numerous times and by the time i get it to sound, I don't need it anymore. I noticed on the 2002+ steering wheels, the whole airbag piece acts like a horn.

Yeah I have to be careful with mine, I have acidentally sounded it while I was making a turn where I flipped my hand under the upper part of the wheel, and my arm made it sound.

Maybe I need to just practice the horn on the A$$holes so I'll be ready in a real emergency! LOL

Yep, i've noticed that for a long time now, if you press anywhere off center just a bit then nothing happens. if you press it NOT hard enough, u can barely hear it. this is so annoying
