Has anyone tried it?, i have HKA super drager axle back exhaust guys and thinking about taking the resonator out, what do you think it would sound like ? Has anyone tried it with any axle back system offered for TL-P or TL-S. I visited HKS website and found this clip http://hksusa.com/info/media.asp?id=1765 and boy does that Altezza (IS 300) sound good or what. I m wondering would my TL-P sound like that or louder? i love the HKS dragers and love the low rumble but want it to be a lil louder.

 

it will be deeper, louder, obnoxious, but worse of all, raspy like a mofo. If ya wanna sound like a civic go for it. I would get rid of the pre muffler and it would soun a little different, but keep at least one resonator on. or get rid of both and go with a 22 inch resonator. Will sound awespme.

 

i have seen your set up bigman awesome work, indeed. I think i m gonna keep this set up so that i can allways go back to what i started with or may be get a B pipe from comptech coz right now um using the stocker. i love what you have done with the Magnaflow setup, they really look nice i like the tips they look better than comptech ones. May be later on i will do the same, take the whole thing off, have a B pipe made and then two magnaflow mufflers in the back. What do you think about their dual tipped mufflers, i know they wont go good with the round cut in the bumper, any ideas?

 

i removed the larger resonator with my hks and it does not sound raspy at all...its the same sound you have now just louder...it never gets raspy or obnoxious altho it drones on the highway...also the sound still dies past 3k

 

i just recently put Magnaflow Race Series mufflers on my car and got custom stainless steel straight piping from the cat. both resonators are obviously gone, my car sounds nothing like a civic althought it is extremly loud. the lexus in the pics sounds like a civic to me so that might give you an idea...

Thanks for the compliments, i think that the dual dual would look great on the TL. I have seen a car way back in the day that had dual dual remus exhaust. It looked good but weird. Those round cutouts fudge every thing up.

ya i have this setup it sounds ok. i've had it for about 2 years and it's a little louder. everyone says it sounds very nice but on long drives it gets annoying.

 

that shit sounds so hot i love it.. thinking of going for that now.. right now i have obx dual exhaust with 2 1/2 piping and it sounds ok.. how do you post videos up?
