Alpha werks headers and exhuast

So tomorrow i get my headers and exhuast. . i decided to do a full alpha werks set up. . and see how it goes. . as for intake i have my resinator removed with a K&N drop in filter. . and cut a hole in the plastics on the bottom for better air . . im curious to see my M.P.G on the highway because i was getting 31. . when driving like an responsible person (80 mp.h MAX) and crusing at 74mph. . . anything i should look into or be aware of . . i plan on installed the exhuast my self and doing the headers . . but i might use my boys lift. . how high does the car need to be off the ground if it even needs to be ? ? im dropped on eibach springs . . and 19" C2 evo painted to match ABP i don't know how to post pics so if someone is will ur more then welcome i will send you some to put up
but im looking for feed back and woundering how many people have the headers already

Was your car in HIN? I think I saw it. If it was it looks sweet. How much did the Alpha Werks set up cost you? I wanted the same set up. They claim 30+ hp with headers and CAI. Did you get the accord cat-back?

Yes i got the accord cat back .. . . it's 5:55 now and im still fighting with this shit. .. i started around noon . . . they just don't fit. . (the pipeing is 4 inches to short) i would wait a while till you look further into this set up. . tomorrow i will know everything. . HOPEFULLY. . . also the holes in the headers to the head didn't fit properly. also the headers to the down pipe didn't line up properly so i used a crow bar to align it and drop a screw in. . and the cat. to the y pipe doesn't line up (the hole and is 4" to short) BTW you did see me at HIN. . . and thanks

are you sure you got the front and rear upper header piece on the right side??
as for the exhaust the accord pipe needs to be lengthened to properly fit the TL

The alphaworks badge goes on the back of the engine not the front one. It should be on the front, but hey...

Mine was installed w/o any issue.

u should have known this setup will fall short.
lots has been said here about the accord compared to TL catback setup...in all brands.

needs to be extended....at the very least.

SEARCH!.

hope everything turns out well.

yes i have a body kit . . . . well i figured imma put my stock exhuast on . . . but i still need to extend my factory y pipe to reach the catilitic. . . (factory y pipe and alpha werks y pipe and the same size. . so it is in the headers that they claim are for a TL that make it fall short. . o well we'll see tomorrow on my b-day imma be sitting at an exhuast shop . . how shitty is that . . my car out of commission till then

The Alpha Werks headers have great fitment and align correctly as many TLers and CLers can attest to. There may be an issue with the exhaust length as the Accord V6 exhaust does run slightly short and especially on a TL/CL. This has already been proven. So if anything is short, is in the exhaust and not the header.

so if he bolts the new ex...from the mufflers to front first..the problems could seem worse than if he bolts it from the cat back first.

that was my only point.

then it was going to be short in the back....after the y.

the headers prolly fit most excellently!...

I'd get UR pulleys instead of the NOS... I've seen a lot of shit go wrong with NOS like this kid who hit a tree from it to it blowing up an engine, and setting the whole car on fire in the middle of the strip in Panama City Beach...

The headers fit. There are about 15-20 members on this site who have installed the headers with no problems, so how could they not fit?

maybee they weer a test header ? theres always a possibility that alphawerks simply messed one up.

yup, so far only comptech doesnt have fitment issues. With the help of 2 friends and my brother who put the bolts in, we had to force them OBX SS heders into place. But it beats the shit out of paying 1100 for the same performance

*btw i love that rim/paint setup you got, i was all over that on HIN...im that dud who showed you a pic of my WW Tl...post some pics for a-tl!!
