Question Hi flow cat

is the hi flow cat that is sold on this site by random technologies?

No its not, its too cheap. Why is it so cheap? Random cat on a GS-r made about 7 HP. On a mustang cobra it made 15Hp at the wheels. I wonder if it will sound raspy on our TL's?

my gen 1 doesn't run a cat...took it off when MN said no emissions tests anymore...it is a bit loud now, so i may just have to throw it back in...but you can feel the extra power...

How likely is it for the aftermarket cat to break? I hear of many people posting on the boards that their cat broke and they were not able to pass emissions tests.

more importantly, will we get a check engine light? that will defeat all purposes of it right there b/c our car will run slow without vtec.

so when our car has the check engine light pop up, it turns off vtec???

I don't think we will get the light. Many accord v6 owners have tried the random tech cat and did not get the light. and no, the almighty vtec did not turn off.
