help replacing fogs

both my fog lenses are cracked (02 type-s, pieces of shit), and one of them doesn't light up. Is my only option for replacing the cover to go through the dealership? also, how can i protect these so they don't crack again?

Also, is there any drop-in bulb that i can put in there to make the fogs burn VERY yellow? I don't wanna cover the whole fog light lense w/ yellow film, cuz i don't like that look....just a bulb that burns extreme yellow.

yeah, go with the lexan. you will be happy you did. you can do the swap yourself in a few hours and clean out the housings. i put some phillips high visibility bulbs in and they look pretty nice now. don't waste your money on silverstars for your foglights. they won't be any whiter next to your HIDs.

I did lexan as well, and am very happy with the result. I am running 12000k Hella HIDs in the fogs, they make my stock low beam 4300k HIDs look yellow , to take care of that i will be putting in Phillips ultinons (6000k) lets see how that turns out.

I think even with the 6000ks it would look yellow. Not really easy to tell the two apart. 8000ks you can definitely tell the difference.
