I recently purchased a certified 2003 TL Type-S and within a week ordered exhaust.

After two long weeks and four phone calls, today I received the Apexi WSII exhaust from Overboost.

The box states the model as 116-KH25 and says, "HONDA Accord 4 cyl. 4 door".

The model I should have received, I think, is 116-KH22.

Does anyone know for certain I should have received? There is no model number listed on my internet receipt. It only states, "A'PEXi WS2 Cat-Back Exhaust System 98-03 Acura TL V6 Type-S".

Any help would be appreciated.

call the company and tell them they sent you the wrong part

ask for an exchange at their cost

 

I certainly plan to do so. However the exhaust was drop shipped directly from Apexi. I am uncertain if that will cause an issue. Besides, Overboost customer service thus far has been very poor. According to their website, I must prepay for the return shipping and I live in the middle of nowhere. There are no locations from which to ship the item within 30 miles. This entire project has been a huge pain!

 

not sure if im right... but the 4cyl accord should have one exhaust, opposed to a type-s/v6 Dual exhaust.

 

Lance: The model # for Apexi WS2 exhaust should be 116-KH22 with the description: Acura TL V6, UA5 / J32A1 on the box.
I'll post the pics of the box a bit later for comparison, but since the box said for Accord, I'm pretty sure the company send you the wrong one. Call the company and explain to them to see what they can do.

You should receive 2 boxes: one indicates for the left side exhause, one for the right side exhaust.

I will be calling them today. I certainly wish I had ordered from ANYONE other than Overboost. Hopefully they will somewhat redeem themselves and provide for a painless exchange, though I am not very optimistic.
