Help for a Newby with an '03 Type S!!!
Hi everyone! I live in Canada and my tranny just died on me at 124k - I have had the car since new for 7 years. At the same time my tranny died, my VSA and ! lights now come on. Aamco told me the codes were:
25-1 Yaw Rate sensor failure
83-1 ECM Relation failure ABS
Is this an expensive fix? How on earth could my VSA die the same MOMENT as my tranny? I was driving up a hill and the D flashed, along with CEL and everything else.....slipped out of 3rd and barely got to the Honda dealer (I am 900km from the nearest Acura dealer). They told me my tranny was cooked....and of course, I am outside of warranty.
Any help on the VSA light and code issues would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks.

Wierd then, When my Tranny died the VSA and ABS showed up too but when the Shop Rebuilt it and Installed they were gone (More than 2 Years Ago).
Did you Try Resetting the ECU? They could be Old Triggers inside the ECU when the tranny died.
