Post Help Me Decide this!Getting a New Car?

I currently have a 2002 TL-S N/NAVI silver in color with 28000 K on it ,that I need to trade in this week or the following week. I just got this car last month. And the reason y? is because I'm scared driving this car with a BAD feedback of having a transmission failure in the future eventhough there's an extended warranty on it. CAN ANYBODY HELP ME DECIDE WHAT KIND OF CAR SHOULD I GET FOR 20K OR UNDER? also I'm looking at this Honda 03 Hatchback SI What do you guys think ? Can you please tell me the good and bad part of this? THANKS!

Hello... this is the TL board... we usually advise people to *buy* TLs. But I can understand why you'd want to trade in a car with "28,000 K" (which is 28 million miles -- by the way )

Anyway, either trade the car or don't... but asking strangers what kind of car you should get sounds weird. I'd rather drive my TL-S than step down into an Accord or Civic.

Just my $0.02,

V.

I thought you were trading the TL-S for a g35, g35 coupe or something in that nature, but a Civic?? you gotta be kidding!!

Anway, you can check the civic forum for the pros and the cons of the car. IMO the new SI looks like a minivan.

I have one answer... No.

And I have one question... ARE YOU INSANE???? You have one of the hottest cars on the road right now, and you want to trade it in for a friggin civic? LOL... this is rediculous. Have you had any problems with your tranny so far?? Nope... some people have problems, other people dont. I'd say since there is already 28K on it, that your in the clear. And of course, should their ever be tell-tale signs of a failure, Acura will replace it with the new, fixed tranny, so you would never have to worry about it again. Come on... this really disgusts me. Trading in a TL for a Civic with the reason that you heard bad things about the tranny?

i don't know why your tripin', your bad feedback can be a positive one if you remember you now have a 7 year/100k mile warranty on it. do you really think you will drive this car for 7 years? i know i'm not, but i'm not about to loose a ton of money just b/c i'm paranoid about the tranny. if you really made up your mind about selling, i can't stop you. you might as well trade it in for a lexus is300 or es300.

my 2 cents.
