help! jam cd again!

First of all I'm really dissappointed with the 6 disc changers in the 02+ models. Every so often I have to stick a cd in the slot to unjam the cds while they are moving from one and another but this time I tried moving from 4 to 1 and now its Jam for good. the front lip thatopens up where you slide in the cd is lock up pretty tight.

Is there anything I can do to fix it myself without bringing it in to the dealer? And is there any options for after the market double din decks that can connect with stock navi?

Thanks alot...

Sounds like it may be heat expansion causing the parts to go out of spec and bump into something.

yeah, thats why a big number of TLers got rid of stock.

I guess the best thing will be to take whole radio out, and check its magazine (cd holder) area.

I used to have an 02 TL-S and had that problem, here is what I did. Turn off the power to the CD player, then take something thin, like a key and push against the slide cover that covers the CD slot, make sure you use something tht wont damage the slot cover ( sounds real technical, but what the hell is that thing called?). After pressing on it turn the power back on and push eject, that worked for me at least 20 times, if not more.

I only had the CDs getting jammed when I put those stupid CD Labels on. Haven't had a problem with my player since. (2003 TL-S) Maybe I just got a lucky one
