I am posting to ask if this has happened to anyone else, if so, how was it fixed.
My 99 tl's CD holder keeps on popping out.....it is the most annoying in the world. I have non-navi or course, and I had the dealer look at it numerous times. Has this happened to anyone else?

I've got a 99TL and this hasn't happened to me. Then again, I use that thing once a year or so. I'm guessing heavy usage wears out the little tabs that holds it in the dash.

 

I agree with ShaguraTL. I think the last time I used that thing was three years ago.

 

Order the 2001 and up cup holder from the dealership. I think it is about $10.00. Cut the tabs at the ends, and it should stay perfectly in place. There were a few of us that did this and found it much better than the one you currently have, plus it holds bigger cups. I don't have the part number, i guess you can do search to find it. The thread is over a year old if i recall correctly.

I don't use the thing at all, I have my CDs in a case on where the vanity mirror is. Guess I'll just leave it out like I have been.

 

take it to the dealer and see what they can do about it.

 

Same thing happens to my Accord V6. It's a simple cheap plastic tab that doesn't hold in place. I just got numb about it and turn up the radio whenever it doesn't close.
