quick fix for scratched rims?

quick fix for scratched rims?

anyone know the best way to clean/repair a scratched rim? rim was scratched on sidewalk. should i sand it? what should i do to fill it in?

Nice link, but that won't work on our wheels. Ours are not painted and therefore you won't be able to get it to look right.

Only way to fix it is to take it to a wheel shop and have them fill the rash, sand, polish and re-clear the area.

thanks all. i just didn't know what to use to fill in the scratches. i had read about sanding. but, i guess if i want it to look llike new, go to a professional. so, $100 for one rim sounds reasonable?

Do you have pics? Really depends on the amount of damage.

ya it really depends on how bad they are. I scratched mine a while back and there was no way to repair them. U might want to start looking on ebay or something for a replacement
