Exclamation HELP!! - Got paint on my car!!

I was driving along Monday and encountered all this paint that was on the street. I couldn't avoid it and went straight thru it. Didn't realize it was paint til later, where it had already started to dry on my car. I got it on the bottom side of the car, in the wheel wells and tires. I took it to the wash, but it wouldn't come off.

Car wash guy told me to get paint thinner, but I'm not so sure that would be good for the TL's paint. My car is black, and the paint is off-white color. NOt a good color combo.

Any recommendations? Should I get the car detailed?? Please helP!!

There is a product specifically designed to remove paint from a car's factory paint without damaging the factory paint, let me do some searching and I'll get back to you...

You can go to automotive paint stores and buy reducer. that will take it off too. Goof off may work on the finished surfaces. Just wash and rewax any finished surfaces well after wards

i cant find the product, but you should start with Clay bar and see how it goes before using any of the aforementioned harsh chemicals.

HA HA!!! I FOUND IT!!! http://www.langka.com/faq.php

This stuff is made to remove aftermarket paint from your factory paint without damaging your finish at all. A friend of mine used it on his Merc after filling in some paint chips to take the chip repair paint off his main paint, you almost couldnt see the chip when it was all over.
