help! damaged the TL
missed a pillar in my blind spot. my fault, stupid mistake. i was wondering if anyone here could help me estimate the costs for bodywork/repair. i'd like to have some number in my head before i walk into a body shop for an estimate.

i'd say less than $1,000. did the same thing with a rental several weeks back - much more damage than you have and it topped out at $3,000.
you'll need a new bumper and fender (maybe more depending on what's underneath the wreckage).

wow all you guys are way over paying for your fixes!! sorry but its true
just go to one of those lower name body shops and trust me for a good $300-$500 you could have it done and painted
I have my own shop, and something like that I could fix and paint for around $450 out the door for someone with new parts, and you'll never EVER notice it was hit
EVEN BETTER FOR YOU - find parts in the same color and you could just replace them yourself

if its a Good shop doing the work, like posted above. upwards around 1k.. maybe not quite.. but definately not in the 4-500 range.. might as well bring it to a highschool garage and let the students try for that price

i say 200-250 for the new fender. bumper is ok so it only needs paint.. paint on bumper and fender together 500-550
worst case scenario in my experience.. 800
