The ECU will need a couple of days to adjust to the new mods you've installed. So right now if you go WOT, the HP/TQ changes won't be night/day difference. So yeah, definitely a grace period is required.

You should drive normally, but you need to floor it a few times to give the ECU a good range of driving to get the max. benifit fastest

Flog her like a red headed step child. Your car's ECU will adapt on its own in a few days anyway, and I know you want to feel the pull the headers add.

Your alarm install probably reset your ECU anyway.

If you disconnect the battery to reset the ECU, then drive the car like you "stole" it...this is the fastest way to get your performance gains in a hurry. However, I would never recommend anyone to disobey traffic laws or to drive like a maniac.

Here is what I paid and these are all prices in $CDN so it might give u an idea:

Headers: $70
Pulley: $100 (including belts)

Im not sure about the remote starter but I would expect that to cost a little more than the others.......

$70 Cdn for headers install? That's damn cheap! Local speed shops here say headers install is expensive...you got a real good deal.

It too my mechanic about 45 mins to install them for me and I was there watching the whole time. His normal rate is about $75 an hour but I get away with $50. The reason I had to pay a bit extra was becuase i was getting my springs installed at the same time and the guy who was doing that spent sometime helping with the headers... even then its always a great price for me!

Hey I paid 200 for pulley and headers. I feel a difference in 3rd gear. I'm hoping that once the ecu resets that it will be more gains.
