header help very important

header help very important

Put on obx r headers today and my tl feels a lot slower ? Dose it take a while for the computer to catch up and feel a gain? Please help

i dont think the computer is going to have anything to do with the headers?? is there anything blocking flow in the exhaust?

No I have my mid muffler removed also going into stock mufflers

pull the clock fuse- passenger side footwell or edge of dash (with door open)
its #13 iirc
reinsert after 1 minute= that forces an ecu reset and relearn

Make sure the TB plate inside TB throat is clean (spray with carb cleaner) so it operates freely, lube the throttle cables and the throttle spring assembly

it will be slower to launch but blast off in vtec

true.. you lose some torque and power in the low end, but when you are punching it you see the tach shoot from 3k to redline dumb fast

as stated above... you have to reset the ecu.. it needs to remap for the extra exhaust flow.. it will do it by itself but usually takes about 100 miles or so.
