check the colant level in the res tank and make sure the rubber hose is connected inside to the res cap
check coolant level in rad when COLD

it cools down when you drive cause the belts make the water pump move faster thus moving more fluid through the motor. If you car ever heats just put it in the lower gear you can to keep the water pump moving the fluid as fast as possible through the system.

Very possible. I would check this first. It's a cheap part if it is bad.

I think it could be your thermostat stuck shut. I am thinking that when you give it some gas, it opens it up and lets the hot coolant circulate.

does the radiator fan turn on. try sitting still wait till it gets hot then turn on the a/c. it has a seperate fan.. if the temp goes down then your primairy fan isnt turning on.

if it gets cooler while your driving its cause air is cooling the radiator. and sitting still your fan is supposed to do that.

seafoam had nothing to do with your problem

3-4 lines of temp means a major issue and should NOT be driven until fixed
First most likely is thermostat- movement causing airflow lowers temp
BUT thats a lot of needle movement!!

Or water pump is failing- with low colant level thats my first thing to check- where is it losing coolant from? nothing matters until thats resolved
Check under the wp for coolant leak from a small weep hole cast into pump body
Ck rad cap seal for leakage
pressure test cooling system

the driver side fan is radiator temp controlled by a sensor to turn it on, common part failure- the sensor

the passenger side is hooked to ac operation and in high engine temps

The seafoaming had nothing to do with it.

Here is a question, What vac lines did you use. Did you take any thing off of the TB and possibly get them mixed up because there are coolant lines on the TB.

sounds more and more like dieing thermostat- gave you a few warning sticks...-
then operates fine for a while until suddenly- the temp shoots to redline and you lost the engine
