handling question
i think TL-P has a weakness of cornering at high spd...
on a S turn at 55mph, the car didn't feel so stable on the S turn(very small turn) and mostly because of the suspension...it's kinda soft and the car leans too much...and the rear seems too light and sometimes it loses traction a bit when cornering
my friend's Maxima SE 20th anniversery is a lot more stable on corners(larger tires and stiff suspension)
but maxima's steering feel is far worse than TL, it's very artificial
anyone had such problems when cornering?

recomendations:
1 - Sway bars. Comptech or neuspeed, both the same. Great for cornering without sacrificing ride confort.
2 - Springs. Stiffer and lowers the center of gravity, cheap mod. makes your car look better
3 - Shocks. Will see a bigger difference, more money.
4 - Lower and upper tie/strut bars to minimize body flex.
Put them all together, umm.:wow:

Even the TL-S in stock form is not made for handling at higher speeds. But, not many cars this size are. When it is always compared to the 3 Series, IS, and all those cars that are the barely bigger than a new Civic, it gets it's butt kicked in handling.
Do what Bitium said, and you will come "close" to those cars, and you will be smiling real big.

I had a 2001 SE Maxima 5spd, and I can tell you even with a Rear sway bar, strut tower brace, the CL-S in stock form will out handle that car. It's rear beam in the Maxima is its flaw. It just does not feel stable at any speed in a hard turn.

yea...can't expect too much thou...hehe...
a stiffer rear suspension would help the floating problem...but of coz not comfortable at all...
our car and max have such problems with the floating rear at high spd...but the body lean roll is much less than ours...
i wouldn't able to change anything on the car coz of my parents...=(
hope i will get a new set of rubber soon thou...
