Had 00 Now have 02 TLS (Pos vs Neg)
Positive
1.) Newer (More for ur money)
2.) Better headlights. Plus the Fogs
3.) Interior much nicer. Seats, white dash, memory seats, 6 disc.....
4.) Then obviously performance. Much better handling. Very responsive and
definitely faster
Negatives
1.) My 00 was VERY smooth compared to the TLS. Like silky smooth
comparably speaking.
2.) Much quieter. Believe or not I had NO rattles in the 00. The TLS is loaded
w/ noises from everywhere. It just seemed they didn't make the TLS as
tight as the 00. Maybe it's because of the firmer ride causing jitteriness
(not sure if that's a legitimate word but who cares), hence the loose parts.
Had Navi in both so nothing there. Only had TLS for about 2 weeks. I had Laguna Green in 00 now i have SSM and looks MUCH nicer....

By smoother do you mean the engine or a smoother ride? Also, my 2000 has its share of sqeeks and rattles.

im sure he means the engine - my friends stock CLS rides much rougher than my car - even with my lowering springs. Makes me glad I dont have a type S, I couldnt take the bumps on a daily basis in this type of car.

I switch to 16" rims (Accord TSX style) for winter with stock TL-P size tires. The ride gets plushier and cornering is definitely not the same. I figured that the suspension setup on the Type-S is built around the 17" rims 'coz it rides a bit on the jittery side as compared to the TL-P.
