Great Radar/Laser Detector Article

I found this article very interesting, especially since I use a BEL Radar Detector. This article talks about how cops use laser and radar technologies and how detectors did in testing.

Speaking about radar detectors, does anybody know anything about the cordless one that Costco has right now? I am about to take a trip from San Diego to San Francisco, and was considering buying it today. I didn't catch the name, but they all should have the same model.
